Hello all. For some reason my info display is reading CAL in the bottom left hand corner where the compass readout is usually at. I have no idea what that means or stands for. Does anyone have a clue? I have attached a photo in the description below..

Calibrate the compass. Not sure how in this car. Gotta drive around backwards in a counterclockwise circle in a SportTrac. Dumb.

Should be in the owner's manual.

Nope. I was told to drive around counterclockwise. It probably doesn't matter which direction, but it worked. Lol

"Turn off all of your car appliances such as radio, heat blower and etc. Again press (takes about 8 seconds) into the hole with your paper clip until the word CALIBRATE shows up. As soon as it does drive in a tight circle very slowly. (I drove clockwise but I don't think it makes any difference which way you turn) Once the compass calibrates itself you will see compass points displayed as you drive in the circle."
