So I have the center map lights and two grab bars with lights that I'm trying to put into the headliner of another car. On each lightthere is a blue gray and black wire. The blue goes directly to the light. The black and gray go to a switch then a white wire comes off the switch to the light. My question is what should I hook the wires up to so they will come on with the factory dome light when the doors are open and also if the doors are shut so I can manually turn them on with the switches. But if I have the lights on and doors shut I don't want the lights to go off when the doors open.
