Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

need help getting my back window back on track

Buy a new window regulator. If you dont have the time, hold the window up and drill a screw in the middle shaft to hold it up. Thats what i did until i got a used window regulator from Morad.

cut a piece of wood to length, jam something in there, be ghetto and use duct tape, the list goes on and on lol

best way to help a car make it through a storm is to get a wooden dowel and put it through plastic garbage bag and put the dowel inside the car so the bag overs over the door and hangs down. Life saver when you loose your keys and it is about to start to rain.

This is what i did i had my 2 buddies make a tent out of a sheet cause it started raining like 20 minutes after i posted this so i used the link doughboy sent me to get the panned off found out the two silver cables arent connected and i have no clue what thats suppose to look like in there it seems as one cable pulls as the other gives slack and there diconnected so i took a screw and put it right in there made it tight enough that it wont go down just need a new motor so i can get my uncle to help me put it in

Sounds like the cable guide broke. it's the white plastic piece at the bottom of the window regulator. If the motor's still running correctly all you need to do is go to a junk yard and get a new cable guide. You can probably get one from Ed Morad also but he's more into selling the whole regulator vs parting them out but he might have one that was bent and could sell you the guide. There's a writeup on how to reconnect the cable in the how to section once you get the part.

i have tried that several times with no luck. everytime i would connect it and run it, would just chew up the cable. a new regulator assembly is the easiest and you can go to the junkyard for $15 and get one.
