Need to replace this vacuum hose/pipe (?). I'm having a hard time finding this part, need a part number.
This part goes from the air intake duct to the rear rocker-arm/valve cover.
Pictures below, thanks guys.

A salvage yard is your best bet. That's where I got mine at.

Really? 2 weeks waiting and that is your best advice?

OP IF you haven't found a solution by now its easy. Call a local dealer in the area, give them the part number and see if they have it.

GM# 24508188 - TUBE, PCV (VLV CVR TO THROTTLE BODY) (INCLS GROMMET) - Retail - $8.09 +tax. Don't get a crappy used one when you can buy a new one for less than $10 bux.

Good Luck

ep, you're right. if the part's not available at the dealership or can't be ordered then go to a salvage yard. that's what i should have said. i got mine when i was getting some other parts at the salvage yard.

also, where do you get your GM part #'s from?

Thanks guys. I actually found the part number a couple days after posting this by searching online deeper. My local dealership did not want to help me, they needed the part number. Thanks!

i just ordered a couple of those plastic pipes like you have from a chevy dealer this morning. he printed out a diagram of all the engine parts and i pointed out what i needed. have the parts guy do that next time. he sounds lazy.

Yea its hit and miss on some places. I prefer to actually help the customer but I've known several that don't want to put in any effort.

Glad you both got the parts needed. :th_thumbsup-wink:

ive never been to a dealer parts store and had the part #. been to many dealers for parts, up comes the exploited view page on the monitor, the guy shows the screen you pick out what you need. they want the sale, and you need the part. they do this all day long im sure. unless you know the parts real name, then its real easy to get it.

turbolude, find a new dealer to shop at. thats crazy, need a part #......
