Need help drilling hole for PCV in IC core.

I have a gen 3 SSIC core on my GEN5 setup that is blocked and needs to be drilled.
To drill it I was going to stick a drill down the pcv nipple and mark it and take the car apart and drill the core with a press. Is that I will need to do? I have a zzp LIM if that helps at all..
