NEED HELP Car acting like it wants to STALL???

I was driving home today and I stopped at giant eagle and my cars
rpm went down to around 500 and the lights dimmed like it was going to give out! So I shut it off for 5 minutes and continued to drive home, 3 minutes later it did it while driving and boom my service light came on:((. I am hoping that I need a tune up like new wires plugs and coils! Any other ideas or do you think that may have caused it I mean I have had the car for a year and never got around to a tune. Please help my GTP!! :(
 


with a code we will tell you whats wrong, without a code i say clean MAF, clean throttle body, test battery, test alternator, clean battery and alternator connections, check o2 sensors, check cat....ya just pull the code for us:th_jester:

No code....no diagnosis. :th_nanana: (you guys said I could be sarcastic and kinda funny right? )
 
Ok so I took it up to auto zone and got the code P0101. I drove home and it died on me for the first time ever :( Then I took off the MAF and cleaned it although it seemed to look brand new :confused: Then popped it on drove around for 5 minutes and my engine light shut off :th_thumbsup-wink: BUT When it idles it is a bit rough not as smooth as I would Like it to be. What are some ways I can clear up my cars idle? Thanks
