morad and then theres zzp cnc ported heads for 1000

my problem is i need them fast
 


I've got a set from a 97. Not sure how good they are though.

Morad would probably be your best bet. He should be able to get them to you fast.

I have a set of stage 2's with manley valves and 120# springs (measured at 110#) that are fresh in the bag from teh machine shop. Magnafluxed, valve job, painted, checked for flatness... Looking for $700 with 4400 into the recent machine shop work.

Also have a set of regular L67's sitting here. Dirty, unknown for cracks etc.

Either set could be enroute tonight.
 


Yea guy at the machine shop said they were pretty bad and every where ive looked is saying they have no head morad has no heads topswap guys bought him out

Every yard ive called says onse they have pulled have been cracked 8 machine shops all say they are hard to get in good shape
 
I had originally heard the cracking was mostly on the 96/97 castings. However of the heads I've had to a machine shop, it doesn't seem limited to 96/97.

Heck, I tossed a low mileage set of 01 heads after one went to the shop by mistake. It got fluxed and went in the trash.

i realize this. a lot of 3800 heads are cracked between the valves. that doesnt mean they dont work how they are supposed to. i ran a cracked set of heads for a good while.
 
I know you can run cracked heads if they arent bad but With the amount being spent on this Im not looking to cut corners all that much and id feel better with fresh heads on the car
