I am sure there is something on here and don't mean to double up but.....

I have just bought my first GTP it has 155K on it or 96312 miles. I am hearing a lot about synthetic oil and am thinking of going with amsoil. Is this a wise decision to switch the oil at such high miles. If I were to go with it what would the pros/cons be for me. Thanks in advance.
 


Only possible con would be that if you have any oil leaks at all they will be more pronounced. Synthetic oil will slip out of any bad seal or gap you have. I say go for it 100%, many people here run amsoil with zero issues.
 
i was never a believer in the running good oil thing. i always ran crappy oil in my car and made sure i changed it every 3k miles.
