has anyone refinished their dash?

mine has some mad sun fading in spots (no cracks). i have a vinyl dye but its super spensive and the dash would need to come out and be taken completely apart to do it the right way. im looking for ideas to put a nice even grey color on it or recover it potentially? not sure

opinions/advice?
 


If you are pulling it out get a used one in mint condition. Staining it wont imo improve how it looks.
You can upholster it, write up is on the other forum.
