The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Definitely this. The one I showed you was just the first one I found to give you an image. And it was actually Autozone I got it. Brought filter and they pulled the kit from behind counter. Wasn't in the isles.
I second the motion, do what Scotty says, worked for me on several rusty/stuck filters. If you need more leverage, find a way to cheat. Wear thick gloves. Put the force of GAWD on that nut.
I don't want to make any generalizations about the people on here but I imagine that many, if not most of the people on this forum are do-it-yourself type folks and take satisfaction in working on their cars. Especially the difficult jobs.
You're missing the point I don't care how awesome of a DIY you or I are. For $40 and pos rusty fuel line , it makes more sense and less trouble. The convenience factor outweighs the time and money dumped into beating, heating , twisting , breaking and replacing lines. i mean lol fck dicking around with a stupid filter for a week
the reality is that you're better off running a whole new line to the front to replace all the OEM nylon fuel lines and steel lines with either Teflon or rubber braided hose and quick connect fittings and convert to the double quick Connect filter
