I'm offering my services free of charge to anybody who needs a website for a limited time, as an attempt to hone my skills for a potential job at The Nerdery (one of the best, if not THE best, interactive web development companies in the United States). I have an AAS in Multimedia & Game Programming, I've been doing HTML/CSS since I was in middle school, Photoshop / graphic design since I was in elementary school, and I consider myself to be a perfectionist. Here are a couple previews for sites I'm working on, done completely by me from the layout to the graphics to the programming and everything in between:

If you think there's any good changes you would like to make to my website, let me know. Its a simple setup right now host and created on dreamhost. Its currently a basic wordpress site with gallery 2 or 3 for photo uploads. You could redo the whole thing if you wanted to as long as it's low maintnance and easy to use. Getting rid of the spambots would be a huge plus.

I'll see what I can do for you Explicit. Wordpress sites are content managed so you can easily change stuff yourself. What kind of features are you looking for? Obviously a way to easily post new things, so I'll be including user memberships and things like that. What's your monthly budget for hosting?
 
if the sites are good how can we make them permanent? i need a good site to pick up sponsors for my 2012 CCS race season.

After the site is built you just need to find a host (or I can find one for you) that supports everything needed to run the site. For example, my site requires ASP.NET 4, so I had to find a host that supported that, MSSQL 2008, etc. I can give you anyone a subdomain of my top level domain, confusingboat.com (e.g. yourdomainname.confusingboat.com) until they can find a host or I find a host for them.
