Wasn't too sure where to post this so I'm posting it here. Recently I got a code for a bad TPS and the front end if the car started to shake, like the wheels were loose. I know the bad TPS means I'll most likely be replacing the TB but I'm not too sure what's causing the shaking. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?
 


Mine did a shake thing when the cv half shaft was bad.

I'll hafta see if the cv shafts are covered under the cars warranty. That'd Save me a couple bucks. if that's the issue. If not, cv axles are kinda cheap. :)
 
Are they still the original ones from factory? I have 47xxx miles on my car and my passenger one the boot busted. And it didn't have any grease left and started acting very similar to what u described above

Pretty sure cv axles are under that normal maintenance thing at least I had to come out of pocket when I had a warranty.

The cv axles for the GXP & GTP are the same aren't they? Cuz the axles are way more expensive for the GXP for some reason.
 
The drivers side is I believe but I'm not for sure bout passenger side. If they have em both in stock at auto parts store compare them. If the gtp has the HD tranny then they should be same. If not HD tranny then different

Should be same...dunno why price difference is there. Just compare the old shaft with new one before u install. Make sure they match

I will. But before I go buying anything I'll see if the dealership will cover this under the powertrain warranty.
