Looking at buying a GPS Nav GM Part Number 10391240 from a guy. Total cost $165 shipping included... Not a bad deal at all .... the issue is the unit does not put out sound. I imagine I could get it repaired but does anyone know an average cost to get something like that repaired ?

i might be wrong but is it stock? if it is i do think a out side amp controls or puts out actually sound.
 
Hrmm.. Yes it is stock here are some pics. Well he said he installed it and it had no sound so possibly HIS vehicle was the issue not the unit I suppose its worth the risk as he is also including the map disk... *shrug*

I'd buy it... I'm guessing his vehicle doesn't have the factory amp... If you don't want it please tell me where to find it!

Yea, I bought it couldn't let it get away lol. The seller did mention just now that it probably does work and it was a issue with the car they installed it in...Fingers crossed if it works its a hell of a deal for $150 .... I'll up date you all when I receive it and let you know how it goes !

Another question ... I'll have the head unit and the map disc .. so now I will need the antenna and dealer programing correct ? Were would I get the antenna ... im sure its on here somewhere going to look in the mean time.
