They all knock from the factory, has a Stock L36 ever chipped a piston running 87 probably 10 or 20 out of the millions of L36's out there....Stock car, Stock tune, run 87..... If 93 makes you feel more comfortable though, I guess the extra 2 bux a fill up is worth it

Agree 100% drive a bone stock Gt and around town i use 89 and when im going on a trip for the weekend i fill up with at least 91. I have never had any problems with the engine, just trans problems but I beat on it too so....Ive put almost 80k on it in 2 years.
