So everyone. I have 2 noises coming from the motor. One of them is old and it's a lower pitch ticking noise. I think it's the compressor. But I'm probably wrong. The second is new. It's a high pitch kind of squeal I guess. Anyone hear this before?

Oh boy. You were right about that.
But guess what happened today...
The front compressor bracket snapped in half and the compressor fell off. And snapped my belts. So now I get to go to the junkyard tomorrow when it's 30 below outside. Yay.!
 
now that really blows. a/c clutch seized up on ya. take the compressor as well. the bracket didnt snap for no reason, thats for sure.
 


My plan was to delete it anyways. My ac system has been removed over 4 years now. Just not the compressor. So I'm gonna order a delete for it and grab a bracket from the junkyard. Is there enough room to remove it though the wheel well. Cause I don't wanna take the front header off.
 
it should drop down. dont think you need the bracket if your going to get a delete pulley. and shop ebay for that, fvck zzp's dumb price.
 
Even the parts stores sell them for less than ZZP. It should come out between the sub frame and the rad support iirc.
 



What did you search to find it? That link takes me to a different page. Is that a link for the delete or for the bracket
 


The A/C delete pulley comes complete it's all one piece.
It mounts on the same bracket that the A/C pump normally would.
