In manual 1 line pressure is boosted. That is to be expected with that issue. Sucks its this bad. Full bottle of Lucas right?
Its so weird though, I only see this issue on impalas and the 03+ 4t65e in general lol.

So got a trans sitting in the garage from a 2011 Lucerne only 3750 miles on it. Putting my gears in from current trans.
Transgo shift kit in the mail and 2 gm revised trans pan magnets.
On my way right now to pickup poly dog bone mounts and poly bushings for $50 since my mounts are shot.
Looking for a new swaybar since mine snapped last weekend.
And 90% sure once the rust gets cut out of this car it's going to get vinyl wrapped early summer im hoping.

Friggin car lol

Well it's often a temperature sensitive issue, it's warming up now and that may be the reason why it's not as bad anymore.

So trans should be going in 2-3 weeks. got the poly mounts installed yesterday
Also found a deal, its overkill but i figured why not, stage 1 high velocity l67 TB, also a l67 throttle body spacer which i know doesnt do anything BUT it does let me install the ZZP stage 1 l67 TB hassle free, month from now overkill is coming back to ontario so ill install it then and get him to dial in the new tb and SD headers I installed years ago lol. also getting poly bushings to complete the poly setup.
probably not much gains to be had but w.e it was dirt cheap and im bored lol.

Ya'll quit messing with that Lucas BS. Lubegard Platinum is the only thing that might actually help, and even then, it's temporary.

so got poly dogbones and poly bushings so front header is pulled away from fan motor and Motor doesnt move a mm lol.

Zzp l67 stage 1 HVTB should be here next week and also grabbed a used zzp underdrive waterpump pulley for cheap to free up some hp. Us n/a guys need all the help we can get lol.

parts are here.

the zzp l67 hvtb, 72 mm so 7mm bigger then my stock one, gotta wait for overkill to tune it got him booked on june 22nd, bought a new 4'' k&n filter and made a new 4'' open cone setup.



$10 used poly bushings that are on the car already so poly setup is done now



and the throttle body spacer so i can mount the tb on hassle free.

Nice imp! Read most of your thread. Late congrats on the baby :) Question, what exactly did you buy that moved the headers from the fan?

Thanks! mine are shot too. I flipped the dog bones but one is torn. there is also a way to set the fans back closer to the radiator. I read something a while ago and now I can't remember where I read it.

They also say ls4 fans are slimmer. When I get back in town I'm gonna get some measurements and hit the yard and see what I can find.

I'll look at shaving the support arms when I replace the front mount. Mine is almost rusted out.

So lots to update on
New transmission is in with a transgo shift kit! with only 6000km on it shifts threw the gears quick and firm with the trans go kit.!


first day we got the trans out, then my buddy had to leave early.



second day it rained ALL day



new gmpp sway on



was together for 2 days then got a set of ER rockers. got those installed with the zzp l67 high velocity throttle body yesterday.



so now just gotta drive it easy tell the I get a new incar tune from overkill this saturday.

The tune i have currently is a overkill incar tune for 91 octane. Mods i had when i got that tune was hai/2.5"downpipe/hv3 so a new tune should help.
