N/a bock VS S/C block

TorqueAutoMotiv

donated to get this wow
What is the differnce in the block it self is it the rod/piston combo is it the crank or is it all three combined

I havent been able to find an na short block for my engine build locally and with in price range
I know i can get one from morad but dont really want to spend that much if i dont have to

The N/A blocks have a higher compression, I think it's rods/pistons but don't quote me on that. The heads are also slightly different, the bosses for the injectors on the S/C cars is in the heads because of the blower but for the N/A guys they are in the intake.

Yea I know the top swaps straight across I want the comp bump but am having trouble finding a block
So im thinking about just swapping interals from a na set up

The block is the exact same. The pistons are a bit thicker on the N/A to give it higher compression. Crank is the same. Some claim the L67 rods are stronger than L36, but plenty of people run top swapped L36 blocks with no issues.

Yea thanks just checked rock auto part numbers
Sometimes forums make ya lazy why look sh!t up when you can just ask on a forum lol

Now to see what will be cheaper
