Mystery Connection

While changing a bad battery in my wife's 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, I found the an unplugged connection. It has two wires and looks like the standard connector that plugs into any other sensor. I can't find what it would connect to. I haven't done any work on the car, other than changing the oil (and battery). It's located just rearward of the battery, and comes out of the wiring harness that goes into the electrical box beside the battery. The car seems to run fine, and I don't know how long it's been unplugged. Please help me know what this is supposed to plug in to. Thanks!

It's normal. there's some cool feature that you are missing that everyone else got.

Actually I forget what it goes to..but it's normal on certain models not to have it connected.

I found that plug too. When I found the female end and plugged it in, the whole car vanished. It's the cloaking device option

i think thats the hook up for the block heater. serisouly, its an option for people in cold climates to keep the coolant warm.
