Hi: 1999 GP, original owner.
My wife called and said the car wouldn't start. It was completely dead, no accessories, no ignition. The key could not be removed from the lock.
I pulled out the jumper cables, but as I was about to attach the black clamp to the chassis, I jiggled one of the cable harnesses under the fuse panel next to the battery and I heard the door chime!
I asked her to try and start the car and it started right up!
Jiggled the cable some more and the car wouldn't start. After a while and more jiggling, it started again.
Obviously a loose wire behind the fuse block ... but which one? The ignition relay and the main ignition fuse are on the RHS of the block, second sub-block from the bottom. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that shows which wire could be causing this type of symptom - the key is in the on position, but the car behaves like it's off???
Thanks.
