My window goes up but not down

My 2002 Grand Prix front passenger window went up one day with the electric control and did not go down. I've had a bad regulator at that location last year (broken cable), bought a used one, and just figured that it was the used one having problems. This time I bought a new regulator and after I installed it, The window went up but didn't go down again. What's really wrong here and how do I fix it?

take door panel apart and see if the window came of the the lil clips that hold it in place. are u getting any motor noise as if its trying to go down.. theres 2 lil bolts that hold window onto regulator... bet it popped out.
