My turbo update

I have had 5 so far... most I had at one time was 2. This one I have owned for 6 years. bought it with 14K miles on it.

I traded my 2000 GTP winter beater from last year for a restored 73 super beetle.

I need to find something to drive...snow is coming... and I dont really want to drive the GTO in it. it gets tail happy in 6th gear going 50mph... enough to spin the rear out...when the roads are damp.

she starts...but she cant go into gear. I havent had time to replace the tranny yet. I have been in Maine the past 2 weeks, and I go to Ohio tomorrow.
 
this is so cool. good thing your working on a different tans or that would be a huge downer. it would be like waiting for your parents to wake up on Christmas morning.

this is not my month.... nothing is going right. I am thinking before thanksgiving...lol. I should have it back in the garage. I am focused on my drag truck right now. It has a dyno day in december, I am still making my turbo piping for that.
 
did you say that you own an s10 as well?? what year, i own a 96 i miss and am happy im no longer driving that in the snow
 
I wish i could do that with mine it would be very cool and a ton of fun to drive but yaaaa money. o well i just focus on the gp and see if i can get it the way i want it b4 it dies. stupid higher education and the expense that goes along with it
 
lol, Its a VERY cheap swap. you can pu your truck into 11's for less than 2grand. motor/trans, wiring, cam. thats all you need.
 


o haha well if its only just two grand let me go out to my money tree and ill get started :p. im just messing with you, I wish I could though it sounds like alot of fun
 
Well, I have decieded to finish her up once more. I ran into a tough spot in my life and had to sell some things, heck even sold the car for a few months. but now my career is taking off and I bought her back and I am currently in the process of buying the remaining parts I had sold off her back.

the build continues....... once again.
