• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My turbo update

made a lot of progress today: power steering lines on, all new coolant hoses, radiator is full of coolant, new plugs and wires, new knock sensor harness on rear of motor since my old one had a bad connector, trans dipstick installed, rear Plog are on, front upper air dams have been cut to fit around the intercooler, rear vacuum block is on, fuel rails fully bolted down

What are you doing for a converter? I found on my setup that the precision converter won't handle boost above ~20psi.
It just flashes to the limiter midway through 3rd gear... this is also with the PCS disabled.

Precision... but after talking with Dave and Precision this morning... what I'm feeling likely isn't the converter.
Dave thinks I'm sucking the pan dry and spinning the zpak/billet piston from the force above 21psi of boost.

I have a custom Midwest converter set to around 3200stall.... if I don't like it he will redo it for free as he is local to me. He has made me converters for my Twin turbo 383 LS S10 and my old 94 Z28 drag car.

I made some more headway on the car today. I managed to get the ZZP control arms in, scavenge pump mounted and all the rest of the oil lines made up for the oil return system.

haven't washed her in 8 years, she still shines

just a short while after this video my oil scavenge pump from turbowerx crapped out and started to over pressurize the turbo with oil. as soon as my warranty pump arrives you shall see some driving videos. I did manage to drive her on my Bday and man how I have missed her. I do have a few small issues I am in the process of fixing..... ones I hadn't planned on lol

thank you sir! she isn't fully done done, but I'm finishing up the last little things before she is dependable lol.

modified the new valve cover to accept the oil return line

This project is the definition of overkill.
Hope you eventually start enjoying the car. Lots of money, sweat, blood, and probably tears went into it.

Good luck !

Here is how she spent winter:

On the first nice day we had I drove her back up to the shop to put the rear control arms on

Before:

After:

and a few more for the heck of it lol

I like this one because it shows off the hood a bit

I need one more good rain and she will be out of the garage for a while driving around. I changed all the fluids out for fresh this year and she purs like a kitten. I'll get some WOT vids soon. took my buddy for a ride last week when it was 43 outside and WOW I let her rip. He just invested in a GoPro so this should be good.

In for vids and I need more info on that Weldon fuel setup I got a pump like that and a box full of braided lines and fuel cell from Greg aka GMRBadass that should make its way on to the caged car eventually maybe someday by 2057 lol ......
