• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My turbo update

Sold my truck and with that I had bought all the fittings and fuel line and pre/post filters for the GTP. I started running the fuel lines tonight. Off the fuel tank is -12 feed to the Weldon pump, then from the pump is all -10 up to the Y fitting that's splits it to the fuel rails. I now have aeromotive fuel rails since I had to sell my SDD fatman rails, and they wont make another set. SO.... still a work in progress but I have had a lot more motivation to get this done as of late.

the -10 line has been ran all th way to the rear of the vehicle, need to pressure test the tank and put it back in.... I'll do that this weds. more pics to come

yeah, kinda has to be now..... GTO is ripped down to bare chassis for another rebuild. I just had a clutch shatter on me again... Monster clutches are horrible. Mcleod twin disc is the way I am going. and the 408 stroker is in need of some freshn up for summer lol GTP has my full attention again as it is the cheapest and closest to get done. dyno will be interesting to say the least... GTO made 543rwhp on motor.... GTP will make more

more goodies to throw back on her..... haha

Ive been working on her all week. the fuel tank is mounted, all lines have been ran, fuel pump has been mounted and wired in. battery wiring has been completed in the trunk. coilovers are in

fuel pump wiring and control box from Weldon

Going to have to heat up the washer fluid reservoir to make it fit around the intercooler piping in the fenderwell on the passenger side. I have made a list of everything that still needs to be done. my birthday is in less than 2 weeks and I plan on driving her on my Bday. I have ordered a 3 to 3.25 45* coupler to match up the turbo to the intercooler as it slipped my mind. I pulled the front bumper off to find a good location to mount up the oil scavenge pump. I will be making the oil scavenge lines tomorrow out of -10 and -8 line. nearing the end of this 10 year project is a giving me a second wind

Id love to have a crazy low mileage project! If the day every comes to have a dedicated project car this is certainly the way to go.

Hope you make the Bday timeline! Its always awesome to accomplish any project or personal project.

in case you haven't followed my updates I've found that the Meziere needs to be drilled to match the balance of the heavier earlier l67 motors and the later supercharged.
it seems to depend on the production short block but the early supercharged short blocks are at 22 ounce inches while the meziere flexplate is balanced at 20

yes indeedy! I thank you for that tidbit. still have the olds alive and kickn? I think Ive only seen it in person 1 time many many years ago

yeah the 442 is still kicking. the two power plants are ready.
most of the stuff is good to go but we're going ahead and hacking it apart for a full tube chassis so that we know we can handle 1200 plus horsepower....without killing ourselves.
two nearly full tilt supercharged setups with about 200 shot on top of each

HAHAHHAHAHAHA that is THEE best car quote Ive ever heard in my life! I'm going to drive mine this Thursday on my birthday. no women, no work.... just cruising in a very loud turbo 6 while doing some data logging and moderate tweaking. should be fun. oil scavenge pump is irritating me right now, but I'll finish making the mounting bracket for it in the morning. I got done mounting the vacuum block and mounting the map to the vacuum block. I need find myself adding more small piddly crap to my list of things to do before its perfect.... but eh its a project.

Ive been looking at my GTO all torn apart in the corner and miss driving that terribly... it should be interesting having all my Pontiacs running at the same time. one of my main goals in life actually lol

tell me something I don't know......and I had to at that time..... I called and asked bob to see if I could buy another set and he said no they aren't making them any more........ any chance another could be made??????

yeah **** bob, he screwed voytek and i over quite well as well as others. i know v has the tooling and jigs that i made for em.

i only have two pairs of fatman rails left and they are for the 442.

right around the time he was looking at one of his machinist friends to make em for us is when sdd went to ****. a year later prj was running out his last batch as the aeromotives came out.

good news is that the l32 dampers/rails are -6 id so while you may have to cut down the ends of the dampers to the seam weld, they should fit in those aeromotive rails.

those dampers are a huge help, even if you dont have the extra fuel volume they still clean up the fuel pressure resonance points that screw with the tune/cyl to cyl fueling.

I had no idea about anything that happened to SDD.... that site was still up last I checked. I have been gone from the V6 scene for a long time until a few months ago I started reading back into old threads and trying to play catch up. but yeah in the event another set gets made...

I went a little overboard on my fuel system, this would be enough to fuel the GTO too lol
