• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My speeding ticket...and idiots...

I've lost count of how many times I have been pulled over. It's well into the 20's. Anyway, I have never had any points on my license, even with all those stops. Now, I have gotten "points tickets" twice, but both times plead not guilty, went to the district magistrate, and plead it down.

In PA you get all those extra charges too, even if you don't go to court. The good thing about PA though is if you fight a ticket, and win, you pay ZERO.

ive gone to court, been found guilty, then told the judge i just dont have enough to pay in full, i have X amount. every time they let me pay it off. one judge gave me the are you kidding me look? it was 900 in fines, and i had a 100. just a bit short lol.

being from out of state, they may not offer him such a deal.

I've always been able to make payments. I usually got tickets when I was broke and even had to make payments on a $120 ticket.

i know this sounds lame, but you should really try to see if your family members could help you out, you say your a teacher, maybe the judge will go easy on you since you work for the state

That was exactly the problem. Being from out of state really screwed me on this one. Regardless, the ticket got paid through the kindness of someone I wouldn't expect. I just have to pay it back when I get paid. Which will hurt for next month, but I'll make it happen.

I got a speeding ticket $270 rt so i took it to court. they dropped the ticket and chargerd me $275 in court costs. lmao

thats good to hear. a loan is better then the cost of your lic suspended and a bench warrant.
