I was thinking of permission slips or something, but that's only if the school tries to bring them here lol. Renter's insurance only covers things in the house, already called. They don't care.
 
Didn't mean to be Cap'n Bringdown. Glad you already thought of it. Now go get some old coil springs and make some bobble horses or dolphins or whatever. "rides"
 
Also fwiw, you could probably open a day care with minimal house tweaks and a helper, and take in some dough this summer doing what you already would be anyway.
 
Yea, brought that up to the wife and she laughed. A friend of ours is going through the whole "I want to open a daycare" phase, and she's been telling us what you need to open a Daycare too. A more than you think, something like a bed for every kid, etc.

It rained a bit last night, stupid post is less solid than it was yesterday. I hope it's just the wet ground, lol.
 


as long as you go through the certification youll get reimbursed for food and all kinds of crap prolly be able to write that whole swing set off on taxes.

my mom used to run a daycare its 8:1 ratio where we lived. 8 kids per 1 adult.

we never ran out of food it was great i ate like a king.
 
I can tell you right now my wife doesn't have the patience for that lol. Hell I wouldn't either. Half the parents around here aren't what I would consider a good parent, so we'd have to deal with the aftermath of that, lol.

Of course I was speaking in a purely architectural context lol. I thought it was a temple. That does bring to mind that the kids' art could somehow be incorporated into the playset like a mural inside the roof or something. This rig is way safe looking, to me.
 


I've got the bug, so I built a picnic table for the kiddos today. I want to build some bunk beds, but I'm going to wait until she's a bit older. Zoey's not even 3 yet, lol. Concrete still isn't set up. All the locals are saying anything from 4 days to a week for it to cure, so if it's still soft like this, I might add another one or two. I figure I'll have to cut one down when I move, what's a few more? Anyways, a pic. It still needs sanding and what not, that'll probably start tomorrow.
 


Had a productive day today. Finalized plans with the wife on the dual chalk boards, dug and concreted another 4x4 3 feet down, hung the bucket again, made some braces out of some scrap, and f*cked my back up good. Depending on how the back problem goes, I'll be building the adult picnic table on Saturday (Something pretty cool planned for this) and the chalk board stuff on Sunday (and Monday, primer has to dry). Pics:

Post, this time I'm letting the concrete set longer before I bury it...wife's shoes...

I think PVC would be good enough for residential use. The public park and school ones are metal, but they have to survive some hardcore abuse from years of rambunctious booger eaters.
