Just went under contract for a new home

Im excited. Larger Lot for a city home. Full basement and attic that I can finish off making it around 1700Sqft-1800Sq ft. Plus I love order homes(1902) Homes in great shape. Going for a home inspection next weeked. Also because the homes in the city limits I get 5K in closing costs and I got 6K in closing consession from the seller, which combined payed my closing costs. :th_sign-ohsnap: the home was built in 1902 and has seen some remodeling.

Nice! Looks like there was a pool at some point. Going to tear down the deck and have an even larger back yard?

Yeah Im gonna tear down the deck and hinge the fence or bring the fence in some at the back so I have offstreet parking
And no thats not my crappy furniture lol. Ive yet to move in. I close on 7-6-2011

Awesome Aaron...like I said in teh chat that night the only thing that would bother me would be the lack of the garage...other than that...it is a great looking establishment ya haz dur

But I also dislike the neighbors being that close. I like some distance between so if I get rowdy the neighbors don't hear it :p

Thanks Man. Im excited to get into it. A garage would be awesome and alot of homes on that street have them. If my old house sells quick and I have enough left over Im thinking of doing a 2 bay garage or finishing the basement and attic. Or doing them all if I make enough

Thanks, Im a city boy what can I say. I love walking out the front door and being able to hop on a bus to get anywhere if I need to. Neighbors, well hopefully they stay out of my way because ill stay out of theres lol. Plus I like not having to spend hours mowing. This looks like a 30 min mow job.

but yeah, i wouldn't like not having a garage or my neighbor being able to peek through his shade and see in my bedroom but i do love the house! i bet you could do wonders with that back yard as well ;)

Umm, derp. Open your eyes. That's clearly where the old owner held gladiatorial battles at.

Or possibly sumo wrestling ring?

And that's also not a deck, those are bleachers where his neighbors and children could watch from.
