I decided that it would be nice to actually have a life and not spend all my money on car payments. And so i bring to you, the Grand Prix GTP Comp G!

I must say quite a lot faster than my old SHO

No I never had that misfortune, might have been because I picked it up with 125,000 miles on it and drove it until 127,000.... I usually don't keep cars that long. The grand prix is the exception, I'm going to have it until I get out of college (3-5 years, depends on if i get a masters).

I must admit the SHO had a beautiful motor....

Very nice GP, love the color.

Wait! A V8 SHO Taurus!?!? I thought they were just V6's. Nice engine bay either way, but I would not want to work on it.

I....LOVE.....that....color.....wowee

My 2005 was that color, and I have to say that it was very hard to let it go. In my quest to upgrade to a GTP or GXP, I did come across a 2006 GXP in that color, but several factors came up in the Carfax report and during/after the test drive that caused me to bail on the deal.

Yes i agree, the motors in those cars look unique, ive loved those cars ever since my very first car was a 99 Taurus (DOHC v6, not a SHO..unfortunatly), i know its just a regualr taurus, nothing special but it was a free hand me down from my mom, i will never forget that car 98k-130k of abuse, young and wrecklace, a friend of mine was soooo mad when i beat his 98 civic ex with bolt on's lol. the car was like a tank, nothing ever broke, until the tranny gave out. Now there are better things in life like GP love

You didn't know this? Quick someone find a fish to slap Syn with :th_nanana:

Yeah all the SHO's pretty much had v8's and usually were of the manual variety. There were automatics too I believe. I believe in the end of the production line of the SHO's they were using some Yahmaha* engine that was meant for marine applications. But the earlier SHO's had a serious v8 in them.
