Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My latest 3800 S2 supercharged swap

Do the high trim f-bodies have performance parts in the suspension or other such things over the V6 models?

Yes and no. If you just pick up a normal Z28/Formula/TransAm, I'm not aware of any changes besides maybe springs for the weight differences.

However the WS6 and SS have better shocks, thicker swaybars (IIRC), and slightly better springs.

Not worth enough to justify buying an SS or WS6 over any other LS1 fbody. Most people that modify their cars will be better setup than the stock form anyway.

I ran Eibach Pro-Kit, with BMR adjustible Panhard Rod, and lower trailing arms on mine and it'd hug the road pretty good. But I was also running a 275 tire up front and 315's out back.

Here was mine,

Thanks again guys.

The paint used on the blower housing is VHT high temp wrinkle finish. It came out pretty decent, very dissappointed in the dry time though as it was still soft after a full week! It was even sitting under a ceiling fan that I leaving running 24/7 and the furnace blows straight into that area, so to anyone who wants to use this paint I hope you dont plan to handle the parts for a while. I used a different wrinkle paint on some other parts a few years ago and acted about the same way, its just the nature of the paint and thick heavy coats required to get the look.

.

yeah i had some experience with the vht wrinkle black and red this past summer, after not liking how it had uneven wrinkle on the intake and valve covers, i restripped them and called an old timer. i followed his directions and it turned out great and dried in about 24hrs. instead of putting their recommended 3 heavy coats, 5 min apart, from different angles. i set the parts out in the sun on a hot day, let them get so hot i couldnt hold them. sprayed 1 fat coat and watched it wrinkle like crazy in about 5-10 min evenly across the parts.

if its not hot out, then you can substitute by putting the parts in a oven for awhile on 180-200f and then after you spray the parts, run a heat gun across them and the wrinkles will pop quickly.

BTW dave, nice looking setup, rwd + boost = ton a fun!!!

Ever get any vids of this car? And just out of curiousity what would you charge to modify another case like you did that one? PM me if you prefer.
