This thread is completely useless!!!!!!!! and serves no other purpose than to piss people off and start e-range.

It's not Grand Prix owners thinking their cars are the fastest things on the street (which I disagree with) that give us "bad names", and sometimes casts shadows on this Forum, it's pointless, useless threads like this.

but time and time again even if I rode a scooter, it wouldnt make the GP Fast.
what I drive doesnt hold relevance on what the view of your cars by the masses.

3. galant is not an evo. reason is when you mention evo people think of an evo not a galant.
4. galant is not a skyline. are you on crack?
5. maitenance on gp > maintenance on galant.

a friend of mine had the same vr4 as you, it was in the shop every week, he must have drove it 3 times for the 6 months he owned it. He sold it to someone else, it then caught fire a couple of weeks later, he took it to the junk yard.

I don't get on here much anymore, but when I had my GP I never got the impression that most members thought their cars were race cars. There were members who put a lot of effort into making their cars fast, and were proud of what they'd accomplished (and could back up with time slips) while recognizing that there are always faster cars out there. Unless the community has changed a lot while I've been gone, it looks like the OP is just knocking down straw men.

1. 4g63 has been a proven platform for over 20 years

Its a four cylinder, it'll never sound good so why bother making it go fast?

Thats right, I care more about sound than how fast it is.

My gtp is far from a race car. Just a low 13/ high 12 second DD. (no turbo / or intercooler) With plenty of room for my 5 month old's car seat and all the grocieries I can buy. 180,000 miles and counting. Sounds too good to be true right? ...

Oh BTW
My first Transmission replacement was Less than 50 miles ago.

Not calling you stupid, but at least share that good stuff you've been puffing on. :th_nanana:

I love the sounds of many types of motors and unfortunately the 4 cylinder is fighting a losing battle on that front, which is why I run the 'quietest' muffler I can on mine. that and the 4 cylinder buzz gets annoying after a while.
