my headlight switch doesnt have illumination help!!!!

my headlight switch had burnt out awhile ago and same with my bcm so i went down to my local gm dealer and they installed and reprogrammed the new bcm and i found a used headlight switch and put that in and now it doesn't light up but all of my other interior light light up its weird im thinking i have a bad switch or something because it used to be illuminated before the bcm was done. is there a possible loose wire or bad fuse anybody have any idea or had a similar problem.
