Nice run considering it is a modded LS car. I wouldn't call either lightly modded too, but you already went over that.

Youtube comments are just plain stupid, I imagine these guys just wondering all day in youtube and flaming at each chance they get because it's the most exciting part of their day. I feel sorry for them not having anything better to do.

Very nice race, you did well given the speed at the start, these cars don't pull the higher speeds likes the F-Bodies do

ps: I HATE the SLP Loudmouth exhaust sound, its so nasty sounding.
 


Thanks Shefff. And the loudmouth is pretty much dumps lol. It has a "resonator" that is straight pipe and no muffs. The HFCs are really the only thing that might tame it a bit. I think it sounds super sex.

Yea it's not all that modded by any means. Pretty basic boltons and one valvetrain mod at that. He has been out of the ls game for about 2 years now, he wrecked it in the front barely, had my uncle "fix it" who screwed him over and took two years to do so while my uncle pocketed the money. And the tailight issue is actually fairly common. I've seen a lot with moisture in them, but it's here nor there, he bought the car with it already letting a little moisture in, now it's just gotten bad and good tails at a decent price are hard to come by. Heck the last mod we put in was the subframe connectors in 06. The car has been sitting in a garage everyday of it's life pretty much.

DR's don't matter at that speed lmfao :th_laugh-lol2: especially with how the car sounded at that speed, Don't get me wrong sounds like he has some power. But no he wont be breaking them loose at those speed lol

I think he could break em loose on the second race. He should have been in second gear, it was like a 45-50 roll. First race was around 60 roll and he was in third on both races. Oh and 02WS6 he said he wondered about the pro 5.0. He has the slp shifter and did have the ws6store short stick but swapped back to the stock stick due to not really liking the feel of it.
 


The SLP unit is a glorified stocker, more or less the same as a factory hurst. Just tell him to get a Pro 5.0 and a Lou's Short Stick, he'll send me a really nice cake at Christmas every year after that. ;)
