My GTP vs late 90's LT ss Impala

There is this a-hole I know that has a ss impala and he says it would run 13's bone stock in a 1/4 mile. I figured I could beat him but if he runs 13's I know I cant. I just think he is full of ****.

I am confused. By "late 90's LT ss Impala" are you actually meaning a '94-'96 Impala SS with the LT1 engine?

According to this site: "C" 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for Factory Stock Vehicles the 94-96 Impala SS runs mid 15s stock. With mods they could be fairly quick but they make the Grand Prix look light as a feather.

Ummm...different Impala bruh. New SS' had the LS4...old ones had the LT1. The 3900 pushrod came in the LT/LTZ's

I promise you he's full of Sh!t. My '96 runs 14.70s all day, and has since it was new. And, mind you, it's quicker than the average Imp at meets.

Oh, and keep in mind, the GTP would probably work the Imp pretty hard in the 1/4, but make no mistake, the LT1 will roll all over the L67 above 80 MPH. The big bastard has a ludicrous top end charge.
