I raced my buddy/coworker on our lunch break. He's got an 06 GTI pushing around 20psi on a small turbo. He took me off the line, then I was able to pass him no problem and pulled away until we had to stop at a light. He thought he would waste me lol. He was pleasantly surprised of the powa of a gp :th_nanana:
 




Ya, he's got wood grain everything Lol including rims. His car is pretty quick off the line, but has no top end.

No, those are the TDI versions. I don't know much about VW's either, but I know his is a 1.8lt. Thanks dmah, we were both suprised.
 
I just recently raced a newer gti and took him outta the hole but he slowly walked me after about 70. im a gen v with 3.6 setup too.
