My f'n car is pissing oil and leaking everywhere

Dang I was thinking there was gonna be a video of a var pissing oil.......talk about a ruiner

Bro in all out seriousness id say ur valve covers are just as bad as any other 3.8 liter GM motor out there. Change em. Or just clean the motor once a month as to keep the oil off the exhaust manifolds

ok.. Im about 2 steps behind... Just getting at the entire engine bay being clean, but yet I have oil everywhere.. Oil is leaking ( to what seems to be out the pan, but looks more like its coming out the backside.. the first pic is a line fitting, im guessing transmission? and the goofy pic with 2 bolts showing would be where the head meets the block and is leaking oil... I assumed Head gaskets were not much of an issue on the 04+ but in this case I dont know where its leaking from..

I saw Billboost said in a post it was from the rear cover???? and that the pan seal was not able to be replaced

Probably a valve cover leaking plus engine not being cleaned in forever. Bro id just assume its valve covers. Do u actually see oil coming out of the car?

First off.. I'm happy to report you don't have oil pissing anywhere. The only thing you have is an overreacting owner about a seepage. This is great news for the motor. Meaning..it hasn't suffered any damage from being low on oil.

Clean things up well and determine the source. It that is oil, then it's either the LIM gaskets or the valve cover gaskets. If it's coolant, then it's from the little cover directly under the throttle body. Clean it.. dry it.. figure it out and fix it up.

All the coolest stories btw, have dragons and boobs in them. Your story is good because it contains no oil leaks, dragons or boobs. Well..it would be better with boobs..

and thanks Bill.. You said in a previous post that people have suspecions of a oil pan leak when in fact in was the ( rear cover , I belive you said ) ??

and Im sorry in advance.. today was my day off and tomorrow I dont work til 11.. pretty rare for me, so I MIGHT HAVE HAD A COCKTAIL or 2 or 3.. ( sorry bout the caps )

The rear engine cover gasket would appear like an oil pan gasket. Which is much lower on the motor than this issue.

Go out and figure out where this seepage is coming from.

I looked when it was on the lift yesterday. Couldn't see anything. Looks like an oil pan leak as the drain plug had a bead on it and its all wet on the bottom and backside

Yes sorry. I just was showing a few of the spots up front where it was leaking as well. But the one on the back side is bugging me more than anything.

Just the spot that's soaking the oil pan. I'll have to get it up in the air again but it looked like it was leaking down the backside then just settling on the pan.
