LOL I finally found out what a dogbone flip was. I was thinking it was just flipping the dogbone itself (the connection piece from mount to engine). I was looking at it once and thinking "what is that going to do, I don't get it". Lmao, anyway I was searching few days ago and I found out it is the rubber insert one is to flip. So my first "mod" is done and was curious, what can I expect form it? 300hp lol. Seriously tho is it gonna give marginal horse power and torque increase to the front wheels? If that be the case can I not argue that with slightly less power loss will my fuel consuption be increased ever so slightly? Is that why it is done? I am going to go for a drive and see if I can "feel" the difference.
 


With such a small gain, you may see better fuel consumption over 10 years,, and any "fun" driving will rid that.
Flipping them just stabilizes the engine a little more, allowing better torque transfer to the ground.
 
There is no way you can GAIN any horsepower or torque from touching something not even related to the engine. That's like saying you got an STD and your a virgin.

All that does is relieve engine movement; less travel in the engine means better power transfer to the wheels, less travel for the power to GET to the wheels, and a little better launch. That's it.
 
well, that is what I figured, metter transmission of the powah. I have definately noticed it last couple days driving it like that, more pickup and go. I like it
