A guy today wanted to be a hard ass and speed on the highway pass everybody soo.., I got to about 100 and caught up to him, slowed down and changed to my correct lane and he changed to my old lane and tried racing me trying to impress his girlfriend.. lets just say.. he failed LOL. Sadly I don't know what kinda car he had.. It looked like a subaru wrx wagon, but not shur.. ​
 


Just tell everyone it was a Lambo for the extra bragging rights.

Like when I shut down a Porsche...no one has to know it was a Boxter. XD

Grats on the kill though, but be careful doing those speeds in cars not meant to do those speeds

You got a good enough look to know he was trying to impress his girlfriend in the car, but not a good enough look to know what kind of car you raced? Sounds legit.

Yeah I know.. I just know it was all blacked out, with chrome tails and looked like a wagon .. o.O I was just taking a guess.
 
and nixon, said it before.. going to say it again WHO GIVES A DAMN IF ITS NOT SUPERCHARGED? like honest to god.. does it really matter?, it doesnt matter what i have, this forum isnt just for GTPs you know? hell if I had a gxp you would probably try bashing me for that because it isn't your car. get over yourself.
 
Oh yeah, if it's just a GT, the WRX would have been longgggg gone.

It's no big deal you don't have a GTP, so relax. But from about 45+ the GT's are pretty damn slow. (I've owned 2)

The point is, You're "racing" people on public roads in a car that wasn't meant to be driven at those speeds much less ran ragged like you're doing.
The only one here that needs to get over themselves is yourself, son. You have a slow car, Drive it accordingly and stop endangering the general public with these shenanigans.

If you want to race, get yourself some more power, better braking, and grippy tires and do it in a controlled setting such as a racetrack.

Because a non-supercharged car will take a year to get to a hundred.

Oh, and factory brakes are tiny and crappy.

So is the suspension.

I have a 2000 GP GT stock. I raced a mid 2000 WRX from around 70-107mph and then again 30-85mph and we stayed side by side. All i know is he had exhaust work and didn't miss any shifts. I was surprised that we stayed side by side the entire time. He probably was too and gave me a thumbs up at the end of it.
