This is my dad's new truck. We raced stock for stock and he beat me :-(

he has a v8 in that beast doesnt he ? stock power on a 2007 tundra is 292 at the wheels .

yea it does and yes thats right, i took it out for a spin the other day and you couldnt wipe tht smile off of my face lol. i get that everyday when i dri ve the gtp around the mall and terorize people j/k lol, i just give it enough gas to make the supercharger whine and people look at me.

I had no idea you could get the new Tundra's in a Reg Cab/Short Box! That's one awesome looking truck...Props to your old man!

My Dad had an '03 TRD with the 4.7L V8 it hauled ass too!

this is custom ordered, he allreadys has a truck made for him, hes weird like that, but its cool, he was the first one to have this truck like this in all of north east no lie. Now i see a few more selling at the dealership he ordered it from. This truck is insane. Its really fun to play with. Im trying to get my dad to get a louder exhust and the supercharger tht trd makes for this, which is nuts. But hes old and says no, well i told him the other day that im gonna be whipping his sorry toyota ass this summer, and hes like not if i get that s/c, that would kill my day if he did, but i would test drive it once he did :-) I guess the new '09 dodge ram is competing with the tundra. It has 380 hp and 404 ft lb trq. not bad and it improved gas millege too. Soo it went up 35 hp and alot of trq dont remember, and still made better gas millege, thats impressive. And they changed the grill to the charger grill, it doesnt look too bad.

nice lookin truck. I'm looking into the 04+ F-150's for my next vehicle. Keeping the GTP of course :)

they are, but every year something newer and better comes along, you dont get to keep the title for long in this day and age. I kno that ford should retire the old triton 5.4 cause it sucks. chevy is up their. Im just impressed with toyta, the way they along. Im a big fan of american stuff, where am i going with this lol, toyota is american bult and gm and dodge is made in mexico. I think toyota is 80% us

but the money all goes back to Japan. Are the plants union? I know the plants near me are not, and the pay sucks

Right on. Most people don't understand that. They think there built in America means there American, wrong! Japan gets the money. I don't know how many times i've had to explain that point to someone.

either way, it helps keep american jobs though and that is a good thing no matter what

I guess that you don't realize that the Unions are causing some of the big losses in Detroit....I would say Toyota has it right, as their job satisfaction in the American plants is rated much higher then the Union plants in Detroit....go figure, people would rather have decent pay and a job with Toyota or GREAT pay and no job with the big 3 because they get laid off. Sounds about right to me!!

And all the money made by the domestic car manufacturers go to the shareholders. What's your point?

You should be far more interested in who provides more American labor jobs.
