My Car Just Shat Itself!

Hokayyyy so. My car started up fine when I left for my cousin's house. I made a pitstop at shell and when I got back in to leave it started funny and drove kinda weird as well. I then got to my cousin's house, turned the car off, and tried to turn it back on just to see if it'd be weird again. Thing is, I lost ALL power. The car wouldn't even make a flicker. No lights, gauges, nothing. It starts fine if I try to jump it though. Oh and when I went to go push it in the garage just to get it out of the rain, I pumped my brake and all the lights turn on, then went off. Could it be a bad ground? alternator? battery? Lol anyone that could help please let me know.

check your battery voltage. When batterys go bad, they can make the car to strange stuff.

But the battery is a brand new yellow top optima. Only a year old. WHUDDAFUXUP!?! I'll check it tomorrow regardless.

sounds like you go a short to ground somewhere. time to start playing with wires...

check your alt wires i see it all the time when people for get to plug in the excite wire in the botton of the alt.

Figured it all out. My Negative terminal somehow cracked and broke in half so it wasn't getting a good ground. But I replaced it and it's all good to go :]
