• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

my car is so much faster with a tune!

DUI BABY
got about half way through the tuning process at this point. got the 3.2 running knock free. by knock free i mean ZERO knock anywhere, even on double downshifts. we sort of ran out of time so we didnt get into adding any more timing but it pulls so much harder now that im not running only 5* of timing because of such harsh knock.

GET YOUR CARS TUNED!!

it feels super strong and im only running like 14* of timing WOT right now. i cant wait to get it fully dialed in with my happy knob and e85. this car is going to fly.

aint i been saying it? ive been saying it, for 10 damned years ive been sayin it!!!! there is no better mod than the tune on the 3800, congrats on getting it dialed in :D

i know that the tune matters a lot, but i just wanted to express how much faster it feels when it is actually tuned correctly.

i know im not knocking you, there is no better feeling than high timing and boost on these cars, im still saving funds for my meth, im only running 13* right now on a 3.25 pulley

im just running it tame so i dont blow it up when im just driving it around. once i get the happy knob all hooked up and programmed then i can change my timing tables whenever i want. it's gonna be awesome.

yes, i have the EGR removed. codes deleted and it doesnt make a difference for my mileage.

the sealed blower with the 3.2 screams like nuts.

so when do i get a ride in this "fast" car?

PM me and ill give you my number. ill give you a little ride around and show you a few things about our cars.

I've been sitting here with this stock car of mine wondering if I should bust out the credits for hpt and go ahead and play around with the stock file.

Everyone says how a tune really sorts these cars out, but I jsut can't justify trying to see if there is any to squeeze out of a unmodded car.

im on a 3.2 right now. my AFR is kind of unknown because my flexpipe is broken which is before where my wideband sensor is so it is slightly unreliable at the moment, but im running o2s right around 900 at WOT. my timing is only 14* WOT at the moment, but we sort of ran out of time for the day and i just wanted to be able to run it on the street without having to worry about blowing it up in the mean time. i was getting less than 1* of knock until i turned the meth on in the upper boost range. i now have no knock at all, ever.

i am going to be using a happy knob so i can change my timing tables whenever i want. ill more than likely run stock timing normally and then when i want to romp on it turn it up to the 20* area.

it will be worth it. especially when you start modding it to just have it already.

thats the thing though, I don't plan on modding the car. I have an xp cam, and a stack of pullies here, but there is no way in hell ill even touch the air filter on the car...

...for now.

ah, i was just curious cause i just removed mine and have not had money for a tune just yet and im getting 15.4 mpg stayin under 3k :th_tongue2:

yeah, youre gonna have that. without tuning it so you can add more timing when cruising then you usually do get a little worse.

the only problem is i was getting about 20 mpg a week ago and all of the sudden the mpg just took a dive...
