i would pull the abs fuse until you fix the bad ground or bad wheel sensor that is causing it. if you need to stop learn to pump your brakes for now. i bumped a parked car before when my abs was acting up in my last truck. abs is not required, my 2000 focus does not have it. could also be something else like the abs control module. pull all your grounds and clean them with sand paper.
 


Check the grounds already! Electrical grounds cause all sorts if issues! Trust me I know, I've been there with my Typhoon. Especially if hitting a bump causes it I would suspect a loose ground connection or bad connection all together. Its going to be a b*tch to track down but you need to start looking.
 
To cold to check all grounds right now. Raining ice and is suppose to hit 8" of snow today. Ill wait till it warms up.

But again since last post no engine light WOOT! Guess it was a hicup.
