both are junk ALL would be way better off doing at least hardened input, 7/8s chain setu,p TEP valve body, and a transgo shift kit at the minimum. That trans would certainly hold up over any 4t65 GM ever made that's for damn sure.

No way in hell id put a reman or stock rebuild and certainly not a junk yard trans in any modded wbody......

Do it right the 1st time buy a TEP.....
