I helped him with a few things on his car and he had these rims sitting around and gave them to me. The chrome was flaking on them pretty bad and the tires are shot so I need new tires as well. I took some time prepping them for paint and tried the Dupli-Color black chrome kit on them. In the end I should have just used a gloss black instead of the black chrome seeing how I had to put alot of coats on to cover up some of the the blemishes where the chrome was flaking. I think the first 2 I did turned out pretty good.

Saving for tires now. I had to go darker than I wanted but hey from 10-20 feet they will look great ;-)
 
does your buddy have any more wheels he wants to give away? i'm not picky or anything. my car needs some new shoes too lolol
