what i don't understand if you do it by yourself is how you are able to use one arm to push the pump down and the other to get the snap ring in.

i used some mobil 1 premium grease on the seal. pressed it down, started the ring in at the top so its lined up, and pressed in the rest of the ring little at a time, then used a screw driver and small hammer to tap in the final part.

it was fixed.. Now I am having some small issues.. gotta get them figure out soon.

im gonna be real with you right now. that ghetto venturi delete, is biting you in the ass.

that or you have a crack or leak in your intake hose.

The guy i bought the car from has 2 cars with the exact same setup. IDK. I could be the feed tube, or it could be the Venturi thing.. IDK. If filling it up with gas fixes the problem I will just replace the bucket with a venturi style bucket and replace the hose.

Mine used to run out of gas on the Racetronix at 1/4 tank. You need a Venturi.

I did not cut holes in the canister... I will try swapping it with a Venturi basket first.

In other news I tested fuel pressure at the fuel rail today, got ~45 psi at idle and it would shoot up to 60 when I opened the throttle.
