My 98 GTP vs My Brother's 07 Maxima

My brother has a 07 Maxima with full stillen exhaust, Fujita CIA, and bully dog chip.Anyways, last night on the highway we decide to do 60 mph pulls to 100. We did 3 pulls and all 3 times with the same results.60 to about 70 we were nose to nose. After that I pulled on him like a bastard. By the time I got a 100 I had him by 2 car lengths.
 


Nice man.. You should really find a 6-speed Maxi-pad or Altima to race. That auto trans does that powerhouse VQ no justice whatsoever! It's quite sad actually how slow they are with an auto trans. Auto SE-R Altima is 3 seconds slower 0-60 and I believe a full second in a 1/4 (mid to low 15's instead of 14.5's the manual runs)
 
I ran a 07 maxima yesterday with my bone stock 99 GTP (just got an intake today soon to have a ZZP PCM) and I pulled 2-3cls on him, he was auto for sure. Good run bro.

do you have a tune?
 


Then save your money and get a custom tune...or swap PCM's from a earlier year. There are ways around it. I'd rather have a non-tuned slow car then one on the verge of blowing up
 




dont hate on nissans..the car i drove before my gp was an 02 maxima. auto. I raped everything i saw 240hp on a light ass car bone stock=sweetness

Let me get this straight.. You had a VQ35 and you traded it for an L36? What is wrong with you haha

No way are you beating a G35 that's trying.. Auto or not, it'd eat you alive.
