• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Figured it was time to make one of these threads.

I bought the car in 06' with 120k on the clock from a guy who dumped his crotch-rocket and needed some extra cash for medical bills.

First thing I did was put on Flowmasters and AGX's, which was a fun project for 20 year old me.

Next I've been replacing things as they break looking to save weight wherever possible. Leading to such cool things as adjustable motor mounts, that are very strong and 4 lbs lighter than stock.

After that I got a really good deal on pre-gen rims and decided to try that out, which held me over on mods for a while while I went out and did some rally racing.

It was right about then I decided I needed something more comfy, so I put in 04+ seats, and made shop chairs from my old worn out seats. I will tell you what, they are horrible to sit in it a car but it beats the crap out of the stools you can buy some places.

I won a few, but lost a bunch so next was 1.9 Yella Terra's and SD Headers & a 3.4, carbon buildup on the valves lead me to pull the heads, and I figured "since I'm in here might as well P&P a little" No pics but My next time out at the track was a big success.

Until the transmission blew up on me at the tender old age of 192k, so it got a new one.

Eventually though I wanted to go faster, so I bought a GEN V, N* and the like and while playing with that I saw a FS thread for the BTTK intercooler that I've seen for about a decade getting toted as the best IC ever. I knew I had to have it, so now it is going on Gretchen.

Which is leaving me an opportunity to add on the aluminum front bumper support, switch to a Bonnie Bracket and a few other things to offset the new weight. Looks like all I have to do for the Alum bumper is get rid of two pins and maybe drill a whole.

I will keep this updated as I move along with the project, the only issues I'm seeing so far is the PCV functionality but I am most likely just going to tap and barb fit the SC and the LIM around the IC core to keep it as stock as possible. And the Frozenboost FMHE had NPT fittings while Jeff Smith used AN fittings for all of the hoses, so adaptors will need to be purchased.

I'm going to flip the n*, but I might have to cut underhood supports to make room, which is OK on this hood since it has so many rock chips and a dent or 2 already.
