• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My 98 GP SE and what ive done to it

it is a "film" can be cleaned off and then can sawp to blue LEd's instead. or possibly use some kinda blue film somethings to cover it.

I tried that with the shifter, but would have destroyed the top.
and the red is laminated or whatever on the back.

Thats why i wanted the 04 needles, to match the light color.

yeah shifter wont work id takes top layer off.. cluster is a differnt set up ;)

trust me, i had a blue interior in my 99 SE

Ok got this far, what to do next???????????

That black( or maybe its clear?) plastic part separates from the front skin. It's just glue. Peel slowly.
Then once off. Get some carb cleaner. Spray. Wipe tada!!
Peronsally I didn't use carb cleaner I used laqure thinner and paint thinner. And a tips. Took off precisely what I wanted and where. Took more time but just as effective. You will see.

Ok this is not working - it seems that the red is the base color
here are the results and look at the light in some pics to see where the color can come off and where it wont.
Going to try sand paper next.
