Honestly, if you like what you've done to your car, go for it. I guarantee you everyone that looks at it, scratches their head a little bit and thinks "how can anyone do that to a car". You went way too crazy with the blue. There's no primary and secondary colors to the car anymore, it clashes way too hard. Can't handle it brother. No disrespect to you but damn...just damn. Cheers
 
Personally, not for me. To me i think it looks much better in the pics when you first got it. I would have slapped GT/GTP bumpers and side molding on it and called it good, but thats just me..

That's the biggest misconception on wheels on the planet.

MANY people have ran 5x114.3 rims on these cars with NO ill effects what-so-ever.

I had them over 50k, others around here even longer. And with Missouri roads? The lulz.

To whomever wants 5x114.3 wheels, you don't need rings for the hub. Just slap them on and go.

I respect what you're doing, dislike, but my amount dislike would decrease by half if you'd just re-do the damn rockers they're damn near rusted off. So it's like blue rice meet decay?

Either way, I think if the rockers were re-done, perhaps the GT skirts, a GT front bumper, GT rear bumper..yeah. It could look decent. White is what I wanted in a GP and blue is my favorite color..but I would have done it differently is all. Not knocking it, just some polite suggestions :)

Rockers are on my list, just have not had time to cut and install the pass side rocker yet - its cut out. as seen in pics.
And dont plan on changing body panels.
Everybody says chang, but dnt want to.

you should tint your tails and maybe get a SD, or SLP gen1 wing to finish out the back of your car and possibly a GT/GTP bumper? :)
 
I admire this thread. Truly.

You stick to your guns even when everyone says to do otherwise. That is an admirable trait (most of the time).
Like Snowflake and his dammed TVS, he did it. Even when everyone said it wouldn't work, and it was a waste of time, and he did make good numbers given everything. Granted, it wasn't as good as it could have been considering the amount of $$$ he put into it, but he was happy, it was his, and that's whats important.

Keep pushing forward, but for the love of pete, save money and get some dayum wheels bro! Will make it look so much better. :cool:
 
Lmao, keep up the good work, I heart this thread. At first I wanted to say something along the lines of "this is a great example of where the community has been heading for the last few years". But than I thought about it, and realized that there has ALWAYS been someone like this around. Whether they are putting red vinyl dragons on the side of their SE, or spray painting their hubcaps in metallic blue. You really have to admire someone who is willing to do this to their vehicle.

It's funny to see people try so hard NOT to be offensive in their replies. Everyone should just grow a pair and tell him what you think about his car.
 
those blue hub caps, omg get rid of them. Lower the car get 18's white on white or black on black they KILLLLLL what you're trying to do with the car
