My 40th Anniversary GTP coupe

Thanks everyone!

Now I just have to replace LIM gaskets, valve cover gaskets and all that jazz. Which makes me.....:th_angry-censored:
I went around town yesterday and got quotes for how much it would be, because I have never done engine work myself so I didn't want to mess it up, one place was $950. The dealer in town and the other places were a little bit less than that at $800. I started thinking to myself, maybe I would want to do it myself.

The job isn't that bad and has been detailed in a few writeups on here. If you take your time it's really pretty easy. Best bet is to find a friend who is mechanically inclined to give you a hand. For a few hours and about $100 in parts, you can do it yourself.

I agree I have friend a friend who is a gm mechanic. Even tho he is a ricer. It'll help me in the long run

Thats a clean looking car even the engine bay is clean. Do the LIM gaskets yourself, take your time and label things. Theres all kinds of info and write-ups on the forum that will help.

Changed the supercharger oil and air filter. I don't think the previous owners gave a sh!t. Sadly enough it is the stock filter because it says AC Delco on it. Which makes me think the supercharger oil was never changed. Car has 130k+ miles on it. :th_shakinghead2: at the previous owners.

Today I put in an open cone intake. Bought the whole kit for $27 from ebay. Not a name brand filter but still pretty much the same material. The kit is made by INSYS usa. Now my engine can breath and I can hear the supercharger whine!
