My 2nd GP...Meet "Brooke"

Well after a violent end my first GP was sent to her final resting place. I was searching around for another GP or W-Body at least but all failed. I began stacking my money in hopes to buying another GP. Then one night while browsing craigslist I found a 97 GTP 2dr with an injector problem but all the rest was perfect. I called and set up the meeting and was there the next day.
Here's what i came home with:

Fully loaded GTP meaning sunroof, heated leather, 12 disc changer,HUD. I fell in love with this car!

Well the guy was right and injector# was bad so it sat in my dad's driveway for a week until the new injectors came in. I finally got it up and running and what a thing it was.

And since I got my GP back I went back to my car club "Ground Zero"

Everything is great about except when i am at full throttle and the trans shifts into 4th its like it surges until i let go of throttle but will continue to climb if i am at anything other than full throttle???

Was tired of the crosslace wheels so had some other wheels in the shed and put those on. Also got her tinted

I have a lot of plans for her just gotta wait til the money comes!!!

go easy.

if you own a grandprix or any w-body for that matter, you should know that a 3.8 can eat 4T65-E's all day long, and especially the L67's.

either build it so withstand the abuse, or go granny driving.
beating on anything has a cost. everything is only as strong as its weakest point.

Congrats on the car looks to be in fairly good shape. Welcome to the 97 GP club. The polished 5 stars look a hell of a lot better than the fugly cross laces.
