Here are some pic's of my 2001 GP GT i got a couple of months ago. I thought i would post some pic's when it is at its worst, that way ill update on my progress as i go. She's a little rough looking now but that will change.

Recondition that paint with regular cleanings and wax it a bit and clay bar it. I've like changed the color of my car by doing this, and it looks much better. Clean up that interior, and get rid of NASSSCUURRR STUFF!!!!! haha good luck with it hope you enjoy
 
Looks good minus the paint chipping off. Looks like the previous owner or paint shop didn't prep to well....

I'm interested to see what you can do with this car. I'm sure it will turn out great! Btw whats wrong with nascar????

That is probably one of the best colors on a car I have seen yet. That paint job you want sounds like it is going to be cool. I hope it turns out nice.
 
Thanks guy's for the comments, first things first for my car this winter is to get 4th gear fixed cause my 4th gear clutch hub is stripped, then im painting it sometime in march or april.
 
I agree with hippo, Nascar stuff should go. Makes it look at a tad messy but all in all,I love the color and those rims will look sick. Tint your tails too! the black and orange theme would be sexyyyyyy
 


yea love the color if thats the original color you should keep it cause its rare just get it repainted the same color! thats just my opinion its your car so do what you like!
 
Color is not for me, but I do like that it's not a common color seen on the car so would keep it and get it repainted.
Rims look cool.

Nascar mats are ok until you can get Grand Prix one's (lol), just shampoo them and clean things up a bit. Nice car and good luck with her.

i would chairish that paint if i were you because thats not an original GM color for the 2nd Gen wbody, someone repainted that car sometime in its life
 
id just sell it if you wanted a different color you could get more for that color then if you painted it a basic color
